Join our BYSQH teacher, Katherine, for a 90-minute exploration of yin yoga - its philosophy and practice. Yin yoga is characterized by the relaxed practice of floor postures, each held for several minutes. It is a complimentary practice to Bikram Yoga: where Bikram is hot, yin is cool. Where Bikram is about effort, yin is about relaxation. Where Bikram is Yang, Yin is.. well, you get it. Katherine has been practicing the system from which she teaches Yin Yoga for over 20 years and has a specialization in Yin Yoga.
